bricoles.tools is a numbered register of web tools that each do one job completely. Every tool runs in your browser, on your device: your files are never uploaded, there is no account to create, and nothing is installed.

Each entry has a permanent number and address. Open one, use it, close it. Nothing is stored and nothing follows you.

Planche contactContact sheet

Turns a folder of photos into a numbered, dated, print-ready A4 contact sheet, saved as a PDF straight from the browser.

  • Choose 2 to 6 columns; rows per page are recalculated so thumbnails fill A4 portrait with 8 mm margins.
  • Every thumbnail carries a number, so any photo can be referred to unambiguously afterwards.
  • Capture date read from each photo's EXIF data; where none exists, the file date is shown in italics.
  • Natural filename order: IMG_2 comes before IMG_10.
  • Images are downscaled on your computer; the originals are never copied anywhere.

Encore une foisListening looper for French songs

Repeats any passage of a song, as many times as you need, for listening practice. Mark the start and end with a single key while the music plays.

  • Press S to mark the start, S again to mark the end: playback jumps back and loops immediately.
  • Gapless, sample-accurate looping through the Web Audio API, with no click at the seam.
  • Press C to leave the loop and the song carries on from where it is, without a pause.
  • Waveform timeline with click-to-seek, drag-and-drop loading and a counter of completed passes.
  • Bilingual French / English interface; light and dark themes.

Each tool solves a single problem completely rather than many problems partially. If it needs a manual, it is not finished.

No sign-up, no login, no email address, no cookies. Open the page and the tool is ready.

Each tool is a single HTML page with no third-party JavaScript and no build step. The source is short enough to read in full.

Offline once loaded

After the page has loaded, the tool needs no network connection to do its work. Flight mode is fine.
